Basically he said all of the teams in our division improved this year,
and it will be difficult for the Wild to achieve last years point total.
At the same time he said they have the talent to win the division. I
think Mr. Naegele wanted to give the impression he spent money on
getting the talent, and then in the same breath lowered expectations. I
don't know what to believe, but watching Colorado beat the Stars last
might has me worried. The AVS are MUCH improved, and they will
definitely be in contention for a playoff spot. Stastny and Brunette in
particular played outstanding. Really wish we still had Mr. Brunette in
the lineup.
