Tim Thomas is the best goddamn goaltender in hockey!
Is Jack Edwards a vampire? He was ghoulishly excited over the
bloodletting of David
Koci by Chara.
Kessel looks a little like Samsonov when he was good.
Where have Krejci, Schaefer & Sturm gone? >> Stay informed about: Nice bounce back! |

As predicted by many, the Bruins have a 4 million dollar backup goalie. I
never thought Fernandez could play with Thomas and I don't believe he will
ever take TT's job. He's just not that good. Mike Milbury was acting like
Thomas has just turned into a fine goalie. He obviously was not around
Boston the past few years. Thomas was always good. The reason he looks
better this year is because for the first time in his career he has a decent
defense in front of him. Manny needs to improve at least some or they will
overuse Thomas agian and he may tire out late in the season. >> Stay informed about: Nice bounce back! |

Thomas and Kessel were what made them worth watching. The rest of the team
just plain underperformed. If not for Phil they would have had only one goal
and they hardly had any sustained forecheck or crashing the net. This team
may be improved when it comes to fighting but they need a lot more help when
it comes to fighting for the puck. >> Stay informed about: Nice bounce back! |

Too bad our GM wasn't one of the 'enlightened'.

Mike Milbury was one of the worst GM's in history. He was all-time bad.
Every thing that happens in the league is news to him. >> Stay informed about: Nice bounce back! |

Didn't he trade Zdeno for Yashin or something like that? >> Stay informed about: Nice bounce back! |

Chara, Muckalt, and the pick that became Spezza (#2 overall) for Yashin.
He then hit Yashin with 10 years, 87.5 million.
Some other classics -
Traded Wade Redden and Damien Rhodes for Don Beaupre, Martin Straka (waived
two months later), and Bryan Berard (traded for Felix Potvin).
Traded Todd Bertuzzi and Bryan McCabe for Trevor Linden (who was later
traded for a first round pick in 99).
Traded Luongo for the first overall pick that became DiPietro. >> Stay informed about: Nice bounce back! |

Milbury has found his niche. When teamed with Middleton and the new
eye candy
it makes for an excellent studio show.
By the way, have I ever mentioned that Milbury was one of my first
(and favorite) whipping
boys? The night Kevin Dineen knocked him out cold with one punch in
Hartford, I stood &
cheered with the Whalers fans. >> Stay informed about: Nice bounce back! |

If I were Nifty, I would be trying to trade with Milbury in the cafeteria.
"Mike, I will give you my carton of milk for your chocolate brownie and a
dollar which I will use in the vending machine sometime in the next day or
so..." >> Stay informed about: Nice bounce back! |
