You took em to 7 games, even though you were down 3-1 and you lost your #1
goalie!

I know your hearts are broken right now but this was a great run for the
Oilers, you did Canada proud!

See you all next season!

Clyde

From a very happy Canes fan, who frankly thought they wouldn't get it done,
congrats and condolences. The Oilers were absolutely tenacious and downright
scary, overcoming long odds, losing the goalie and still getting this close.

Celebrate the team's conference win and the long odds they overcame. I know
it's sour grapes. It shows how important the regular wins are. With home ice,
the Oilers would have won it.

From Raleigh, I agree. Edmonton was an amazing story this year, to knock off
#1 Detroit and two other higher-seeded teams, and go to 7 games without
Rollie. The Oilers played with skill and power, and my hat's off to 'em.

And, to a man, the Oilers fans who came down to Raleigh were classy, fun,
and a credit to the city.

Good job, Oilers. Let's do this again next year.
