Nice game for the Wild tonight. They definitely looked like
the dominant team, on both offense and defense.

Sheppard gets a goal and an assist, Voros gets two assists
and Gabby scores a pretty goal, unassisted (making that
eight goals in the last nine games).

True, it's against Phoenix...but it's a good confidence booster
for the young guys going into some tough games over the
next several days.

The Wild are now 5-5 out of their last 10, and getting Demitra back
on the ice is huge.

Way to go, Wild!!!

Meanwhile, down in the AHL, the Aeros were popped three times in the first
period, and that was the final result - 3-0 loss in their first visit to
Rockford. The one plus was Anton Khudobin finally getting his first game
action, starting the second period after Barry Brust coughed up three goals
on ten shots, and stonewalling the 15 he faced in the final 40 minutes. I'm
hoping he gets the start when the Aeros come home Friday night to face
Peoria. (The next night, they get Grand Rapids, after which they're gone for
a seven-game road trip to Manitoba (twice), Hartford, Springfield, Worcester,
Providence, and Iowa, coming home on December 22.)
