One thing I like to interpret is how well they handle and respond emotionally
to funks--a really great indicator of locker room confidence and overall
spirit. So, we've yet to see how they respond to the inevitable 4-5 game
losing slumps, key man injuries with lineup changes and being down 3-4 goals
at an early time in a game. So, hopefully it doesn't sound weird to some,
that a losing streak has merit because it showcases their spirit--which has
to be fine tuned for the playoffs.
I loved watching teams come at you like robots in these situations--they're
the ones worth worrying about--or caring about. Tells me the coach has them
bought-in and they're loving it. Screw the score, stats, press--they're
coming back all the time.

She asked me if I loved her still. "Yes," I replied. "I've never had
you any other way."
