Talent plus the right attitude ought to lead to effectiveness.
The thing I really liked about last night is that five minutes into
the first, it was clearly going to be "one of those nights" -- but the
players didn't seem to let their heads drop.
The things I really didn't like were, of course, the goals - all of
them. Now, granted that I didn't have the best picture available to
me, I was surprised that the first beat Nabokov. And two breakaway
goals speak for themselves. Oh, and Bernier's 1st period
unsportsmanlike penalty - presumably for mouthing off to the ref.
Yeah, you've had two bad calls against you in 10 minutes or so, but
that's no excuse for compounding the situation by adding an extra two
minutes of PK onto it.
