It's shameful what has happened to Chicago. Most will point the finger at
the owner. There is some evidence that he may be the worst owner in pro
sports. I don't live near Chicago, but they were my favorite team growing
up. I rarely if ever get to see them anymore, and switched my allegiance to
the local team years ago.
I think that Bettman is too concerned with growing hockey in non-traditional
markets (the south) to be concerned with the problems in Chicago. I think
the best thing that could happen to the franchise is an ownership change.
