In more positive news, we made some good entry-level signings today, which
have me more interested than whatever in the living hell possessed Lou to do
the above.

I bet he would've gotten around 3 if he had gone to open market. By
no means is the open market an indicator of actual worth, but there ya
go.

Pandolfo is still a useful player. I hope he has healed better over
the summer.

Loyalty. Pando has sacrificed numbers for defense his entire career. He
deserves the payday and I'm willing to let last year slide since he was
hurt for most of it.

I think he wanted either him or Brylin and waited til Brylin passed on
the player option to give Pando the bucks.

Gotta wish Brylin well in whatever he winds up doing. He's been a good
soldier for a lot of years.

I have to say, I have no problems with this either, especially given the
higher cap - I still really like Pando on our team.

And I still think there's a chance Brylin will sign later, but for less
cash.
