Panthers Snag De Boers

Peter DeBoer, rumoured most of the week to be the next head coach in
Ottawa, has landed in Florida as the new Panthers coach. The timing
'suggests' DeBoer accepted the Florida position as soon as Hartsburg
accepted the Sens offer (but TSN still hasn't announced Hartsburg, so
there's some vice versa).

Coaching jobs appear to be leaning towards promotions over recycling
and that means PQuinn may never get back, and one or more of
Quennville, Hartley, and Crawford, may be looking for the butter dish.

Its worth mentioning that there are dozens of coaches that have had stellar
careers in the OHL who have failed miserably in the NHL.

Not to wish bad luck on the guy, but i am glad the Leafs gave him a miss.
