Parcells is saying the Giants are on solid footing with Eli at QB. Parcells
was especially impressed by Eli's ability to stay on the feild for the last
3 years and how Eli came back right away from the shoulder seperation and
how that sends a positive leadership message to the rest of the team. He
also mentioned how he might be the best QB in the division with McNabb not
all the way back from his knee and Romo and Campbell a work in progress. I
still think Eli is a work in progress himself but I guess Parcells meant he
was further along than Romo or Campbell.

How about Tom Glavine, I heard he was a really good hockey player and I'd do
anything to get him off the Mets.

I'd do that to, but I'd start with touting my experience as a scrub in
pickup games then I'd tell him about my extensive experience with
beanie baby collecting. If he seemed impressed I'd offer to meet him
at the Vince Lombardi service area for a little glory hole action
after the home opener.

I don't need to be reminded of one of the greatest Rangers ever. Is the
statue on 7th Avenue done yet?

How was that any different.... - How was that waved-off goal in Buffalo any different than the one in game 1 against the Rangers? Why did that one count, and this one didn't? By the way, VS. is absolutely terrible. Joe Beninati? Why don't they just get Rick Jeanerette or some other....

Scary good - More "scary" than "good".

Teeeeee-mu Selanne! - And Hockey Town is stunned. Woooo-Hooo!!

Team +/- leader? - NY Rangers website lists top plus/minus player for 06-07 season was ... Marek Malik??? How the hell is that possible? Is it simply that he played most often with the top scoring line. Hopefully those in charge will look beyond the stat ... PLEASE?
