Mark Parrish, late of the Minnesota Wild and former Islander,
has signed a 25 game tryout contract with the NY Islanders. He
is currently assigned to Bridgeport, and could work his way back

He would be a great player to have. I always liked him,
he plays his heart out and goes in front of the net.

my age....

Sean Hill signs with Minnesota - Not a major loss - in that he still has a 20 game suspension to sit out - but he WAS a key defenseman for the Islanders last year. Still no movement on getting a defenseman :-( Newsdays said something about Ed Jovanowski, but he'd have to waive his no....
