I missed the game. Looked at boxscore on NHL.com.
It showed no penalties at all for either team. I can't believe it. It did
show the Coyotes winning 4-1. What happened?

Plenty of penalties:
http://scores.espn.go.com/nhl/boxscore?gameId=271216013

Coyotes won 5-1.

Post of the year!

I am so glad I'm too cheap to spring for Center Ice and a DVR. Watching
Rangers in 60 was bad enough.

Oh, I have even more things to be thankful for:

(1) My cable system doesn't have My-9. (Well, the My-9 they have is a
Connecticut station, so no hockey.)

(2) XM overlaid the beginning of the game with some financial program.

(3) The online radio at NHL.com gave me the Phoenix broadcast the first
time I clicked for the Rangers broadcast.

Eventually both NHL.com and XM got it right. Too bad the Rangers didn't.
At least I got a lot of knitting done.

Let Down Game - After the first goal when Dubinsky had 2 defensive zone turnovers within seconds of each other you knew it was going to be a long game. Then the old killer right-at-the-end-of-a-period goal. They played better in the 2nd but still ho-hum. I fell aslee...

BIG GAME SATURDAY 9/22 - saturday, september 22, the BRONX GRIDLOCK battle the BROOKLYN BOMBSHELLS at the Nat Holman Gymnasium at City College, 138th and Convent Avenue, doors open at 6:30, plus, an afterparty at the Ding Dong Lounge, call the hotline at 646-405-9803 for further...

1.6 goals per game - Wow! 2.8 is pretty mediocre. 2.4 is quite awful. 2.0 is absolutely abysmal. 1.6? Seriously... that just doesn't seem possible. You'd think the only way that could happen is if it's entirely deliberate. What a start!!!

Great Game!! - Sometimes this team puts crazy ideas in my head. Screw the gimmick shootout, I would have been satisfied with a tie. The boys are playing good hockey. Timmy
