so says the Flyers website...
On Friday, September 14 at 10:45 a.m. at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate
Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey, the Flyers and Phantoms will unveil their
new Reebok home (black) and road (white) jerseys.
(The Phantoms aren't going to be purple any more?)
Representatives from Reebok and the National Hockey League will be in
attendance to explain the new features of the Rbk Edge Uniform System.
In addition, the MeiGray Group has created a display showing the
evolution of the Flyers’ jersey over the last 40 years.
At 11:15 a.m., “Benjamin Franklin” will participate in a ceremonial puck
drop between Gagne and Briere. The players will then present him with a
personalized jersey.
Gagne and Briere will be available at the conclusion of Friday’s
practice (approximately 12:30 p.m.) to sign all new Gagne and Briere
jerseys purchased that day at The Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone.

i wish they would get rid of the BLACK Jersey and go back to Orange
the Flyers current Jersey is the WORST in the nhl
i have no problem with "a" black jersey, provided it has a "lot" of
Orange and white in it

What about those footie pajamas that zip up from ankle to neck?
I've been hunting for a set of those for years. Oddly enough they are
hard to find in a size big enough to fit a guy that is 6' 2" and 220
lbs. I swear if I find some I'll be wear them every day, and sit on my
couch eating cereal and watching cartoons until I die. >> Stay informed about: Flyers and Phantoms to Unveil New Jerseys on Friday |

There are a couple of hockey players in our club that put on something
similar under their equipment. It kind of looks like underwear that Santa
Claus would wear. The only thing missing is the footie part and the top
buttons up.

I know, I know, but if the two could somehow be combined, it'd be a
bestseller. And no buttons for the flap, all velcro, for quick
tear-away bomb dropping.

Then there'd need to be automated struts, in the back, to raise the
flap up again, like the ass of a cargo plane. Skid marks come free.
