Wow -- sure wish I could make it to the first home game on Saturday,
as the place should *really* be rockin!

The incredibly stupid cross-check by Boulerice notwithstanding, they
played -- to a man -- a great game start to finish. Richards' double-
shorthanded breakaway was just more icing on the cake.

Briere becomes the first Flyer ever to record multiple points in his
first three games, and the KGB line was all over the score sheet
tonight -- all of them getting goals.

It's tough not to be excited about this team, eh?

Best player tonight... I vote for Richards. He had a 4 point night; 2g2a.

It's rare that you feel safe with both point men on the PP, and he's
alleviated those fears.

Richards has played well in all three games. He looks like a completely
different player than last season when he never seemed to hit his stride
once he got injured early in the season.

He's a young Kapanen... very good defensively and versitile. He's a bit
slower, but seem to have a better offensive upside.
