Anyone see Osgood job him right before? I didn't and CBC had a hard on for
the slash and showed nothing else. Suspension? Yes. I see him gone for a
game. And as someone pointed out (Detroit NG) Osgood is gaetting an Oscar
nod. Good job.

Ahhh Mickey Ribs. One minute he was complaining about how he "just
couldn't thrive in Montreal" causing me to wonder if we gave up on him
too early and the next minute he does something stupid and selfish which
has me saying. "ahhh, right now I remember why I was glad to see him go".

Cherry will have a ball with this one. Having said that however, Osgood
does deserve an Oscar (he can stop a puck in the chest at 95MPH but a
slash from a stick and he's down like he was shot). But a two handed
woodchop slash is likely to get Ribs a couple games as it should.

How about no suspension at all? Just a fine for each of them. What a
joke.

After making heads turn in the NHL by showing how far he'd come, he
shows us all what a punk bitch he still is.

As much as I hate to see anyone taking a dive as obnoxious as the once
Osgood took, I gotta say that Ribiero deserved to have a dive like go
against him after the bullshit he pulled in Montreal. I'm sure I'm
not the first to say this ...but I'm lazy to look through the 600+
messages posted since I last booted up this newreader.

Adam.

If there is any suspension at all they both should get a game apiece. In no
way should Ribs get a suspension and Osgood not as the latters effort was
much more likely to cause an injury than the formers.
