| No worthwhile link yet, but the Wild's beat writer claims it's so. Just a
matter of whether TB has gotten the downside compensation pick back yet,
from the Roberts/Malone trade, to give to the Wild for Rolston.
Be interesting to see if they can get him in before the 36 hour finish line.
If they sign him, they're pretty much capped out and done.

How old is Rolston? I know he had a good year, and there's nothing to
say he won't have another, but guys in their late 30's can sometimes
fall off the face of the Earth rather suddenly.
This could be it for Brian to have a chance to cash out, I think he'd
probably want to field other offers first.

A plus is Rolston might actually want to come here, which I can't say
for a lot of the other guys out there that might think New Jersey is
nothing but a place where stats go to die.
Give us another look in the wonderful, wonderful shootout, at least.

he's 35 but had 3 30-goal seasons in a row and only a few games missed,
he's worth going after, even though there's no guarantee he'll produce
at that level. >> Stay informed about: Rolston to TB? |
