Well, Ottawa re-signed Luke Richardson ... and he slept with all of
them!

Strange how they cut Battaglia without playing him. Who's wife did this guy
sleep with? :)

Schenn
White
Mitchell
Rogers
Petiot
Pogge
Earl
Kronwall

My money is those 8 guys will be cut. If they keep Schenn up, they are
truly idiots.

Tunnel.

Keep him up for the ten games, then send him back to Kelowna and let him
captain the WJC team.

I don't think it's that strange at all. Bates was a beneficiary of Maurice's
loyalty, and showed nothing much more than AHL caliber play with the odd
flash of NHL.

This team is currently being constructed to put forth appreciating assets,
not former glory projects. Given his prominence with some of the former
Marlies that'll be on the big roster this year, I doubt Wilson wants a
rudder on the internal hierarchy that is developing in the Leafs dressing
room. He's just not the kind of veteran that these young players need.

Ding ding ding we have a winner! Schenn has probably been the second best
d-man in camp from what I've seen, he would benefit greatly being up for the
10 games then heading back as 'the man'. It would be huge for his
development, huge for him in terms of being able to go back and walk the
walk as the leader of the WJC team.

That list looks pretty correct to me... has Kronwall even played this camp?

White has been absolutely brutal. Too bad he wasn't dealt when he was worth
something.

Rumour on another board has him going to Pittsburgh. White's tilt is
so strong I've recommended in the past that he get moved up to RW - he
could fill a regular spot on an energy line, or be the 7thD/13thRW
(Belak with a brain).

His aggressive play gets him into trouble defensively. I wouldn't
trade him unless the deal was pushed by the partner - it's way too
easy to see this guy coming back to hurt ya.
