That disgusts me, Roy deserves no more than 2 mil a year in my opinion.

It's a little high in my opinion too. Everyone seems to think the cap is
going to go up and up and up. I don't think that is the case. The cap went
up mostly because of the gain in the Canadian dollar vs the US dollar. If
and when that returns to where it was revenues, and the cap will go back
down.

Where will the Sabres be if the cap goes down to about $40 million again and
they have $11 million wrapped up in two guys.

I think a lot of teams will be in serious doodoo if the cap goes down.
These 6 to 8 year deals are just dumb in a market as volatile as this.
You're absolutely right drax, if the looney drops back to 75 cents watch the
cap go down to 45 mill or so, and watch the Rangers' and Flyers' brass go
underwear shopping to replace their soiled ones.

Now that the market has been set, and a giant pile of the budget has been given to TV, will the Sabres be able to keep both of them? Also, Buffalo wasn't good enough last year, how can they possibl...
