Three rule changes - biggies, no less.
1. When a penalty is called, the next faceoff is in the defender's
zone, regardless of where the puck was recovered by the offending
team.
2. Contact between players chasing an 'iced' puck must occur going
after the puck, not playing the man. It's a penalty for those
endboard shots.
3. A shot off the goal-frame or xbars that leaves the rink no longer
comes outside the zone for a faceoff. (It still won't be counted as a
sog, tho).
