I know this board is lightly attended - hopefully that will pick up -
but just wanted to pass along to Coyotes fans that you did good in
getting Mike Rupp. He hasn't had much of an impact this season, but
he sure did have an impact in Game 7 SCFs last season. He's got good
size with decent hands - when he does score which hasn't been as often
as he should, the visuals frequently impress. This season with the
Devils he's been pulling fourth line duty - and with the possible
exception of some moments with a banging Stevenson-Rupp-Marshall line
- it hasn't looked like much. However, on those limited occasions he
was sandwiched last season between Langenbrunner and Friesen, three
were some Arnottian moments. Give him a try with some skilled
wingers and I think you might find you have something. Don't forget
the guy was a #8 pick in the first round in 1998 - I know I know...the
Daigle argument - but honestly Mike works harder.

I thought he was going to be something special here for more than one
playoff round, but apparently patience has worn thin - word is he's
kinda been in the doghouse with Burns.

In any event I'll be circling the next trip the Coyotes come to the
Meadowlands to give your newest Coyote a round of applause.
