to lose that laughed when I stated that Edmonton would win in 4...maybe 5,
and that the post season means "nothing", whose laughing now?! I said all
along that Edmonton has Anaheims number, they haven't won here since 1999
and I believe the Oilers are 14-1 against them since that time, but then
again whose counting.

what gets me is how did Cowtown lose to these guys?

Oilers in 4...can you say SWWEEEEPPPPPPPP.....

Edmonton vs Buffalo in the final and should be a great series, and yes I
believe it's over for the ducks. Even coach Carlye is giving excuses by
blaming Roloson(post game interview)for delaying, flinging off equipment,
stalling by drinking water, trying to coherce the referee's etc...I call it
smart hockey on Roli's part IMO...GO OILERS!!

I think I can say it now. Sweep. Not that I thought Edmonton was
anything less than they are. They launched Detroit and San Jose from
the playoffs. You really can't do that on luck. With two extended
series and a bit of rest for Anaheim, I honestly didn't think they'd
have much left in the tank.

I also admit I'm guilty of getting caught up in the possibility. The
Ducks were supposed to be a couple years away from this. I expected
the Ducks to lose in each of the first two series. Should have picked
against them in this one too.

Congrats to Edmonton on returning to the Cup finals (premature? Yes.
Inevitable? Definitely.) Good luck in the finals--take care of the
East.

Oilers fans were feeling the same way, Don- getting caught up in the
possibility. It wasn't that long ago that both teams were playing golf when
the playoffs started under the oppressive old CBA. Burke was building a
team for the future, but they've done very well already. Considering that
the new core of talent is mostly young, the future is very bright for the
Ducks, Don.

There isn't a whole lot of history between Anaheim and Edmonton in the
playoffs- in fact, there's none. It's good to see a fan who can be classy.
A lot of Edmonton fans are getting caught up in the possibility of a Cup now
since the shock's wearing off. :)
