OK, Sharks' fans, here's the deal. We have to sacrifice watching the
team play at the Tank, so we can assure that they'll not lose another
game this year, ok? :-)

They're unstoppable on the road, so stay away....far away.

That would be fine with me, if we could get some road HD
broadcasts! ;)

Maybe they could just close down the Tank. The Sharks could just play
on the road the rest of the year. Change their name to the U.S.
Nomads. Then the question would be whether SJ would want to see them
play here during the playoffs.

Yeah, speaking of broadcasts...why are the Sharks broadcasts looking a
very strange washed out color these days? The camera work is awful.

Just two more and we tie the Wings for the record! First up after the
four at home... the Ducks.

Nabby, please get extra practice on shootouts, 'cause you know one
will come in the Pond

Say, they should be shooting for the 8th seed in the West this year,
shouldn't they?

How about a more practical approach: Make the players sleep at a hotel
the night before the game to feel like they're on a road game. Just a
thought.

Sell almost all the tickets to fans of the other team?

That didn't help much against Buffalo, though.

I'm just glad we don't get the 'Hawks right away. Sheesh.

That's pretty good Rich, but in today's Mercury News, assistant coach
Rob Zettler acknowledged that the fans are already booing the team,
which is the easy part. Buying all those opposing jerseys can get
costly!

Yeah but for the prices fans have to pay to watch it, they are
entitled to their boos.

I suppose. So I should pass on the season tickets next year, so I
won't be tempted to boo in there presence. Wouldn't want to hurt
their delicate feelings. ;-)

Now, if they played like they meant it (which I'm not seeing yet), I'd
cheer. And I'm not alone in that opinion, at least one (or more)
outspoken member of the team seems to share it. Effort counts.

That's part of what I pays my money for, so you bet.

And, I won't put up with slop. When I see it, they should know it.
And you know what, they do know it. And they know when "we" know it
too. Some of them will even admit to the mental lapses and sloppy
attitude.

FWIW, when I see them doing well (which is not all that often right
now - even their winning streak on the road is "low voltage"), I cheer
them. I love 'em. Tough love, when necessary. :-)
