Sorry, but after reading in the paper yet again his criticism of
Gaborik, I wish Lemaire would just learn to keep his mouth shut.
Gaborik went after a linesman and showed some passion, something the
team really didn't have last night. Yes it cost him a penalty and was
stupid, but Lemaire doesn't need to comment on the event publicly. If
he wants to talk to Gabby about it, fine. But as a coach he doesn't
need to comment on it, and if he does, he should support his TEAM. I
have a feeling Lemaire is going to lose complete control over Gaborik,
and the team if he continues to badger Gabby. In public at least,
Lemaire should stand by his players as most good coaches would do. We
can not afford to lose Gaborik...Lemaire on the other hand can retire.

I read the comment and Lemaire didn't really rip him, but he did make a
comment that Gaborik had no right to go after the ref. I too am glad
Gaborik said something. The Wild came out very flat last night and
someome needs to spark the team. The offsides call that resulted in a
no goal was terrible. I wonder why Lemaire always feels the need to try
and get under Gaborik's skin. I wish he would give Skoula a kick in the
pants to get him to play better. Lemaire also needs to prove he can
take this team to the next level rather than staying in neutral like
they have been the past few year.

The Wild have been on the top of their division most of
the season and are currently #3 in the conference.

Hardly what I would call "stuck in neutral".

Stuck in neutral as in not being able to make it out of the first round of
the playoffs. If the season ended today, they would not even have home ice
advantage. They are stuck in neutral as I see it. The season isn't over so
let's see how things play out. I suspect they will once again be a 7 or 8
seed in the playoffs. If that is the case......stuck in neutral.
