From NYPost:
It's foolish to attempt to take the temperature so quickly of the second
Gomez-Jagr marriage that follows the separation that took place after they'd
tried it unsuccessfully for a seven game period from Oct. 18-to-Nov. 1, and
it will be foolish to do so after every game. Suffice to say that Gomez
looked more comfortable with No. 68 than he did their first brief go-round
when he'd been a Ranger for all of a month.
"The first time I was always trying to get Jags the puck," said Gomez. "The
reason it didn't work was more me than him."
END
So the Moral of the story is? Just Shoot. That includes Jagr and Straka too,
not only Gomez. Otherwise you have 3 playmakers trying to make pretty passes
and not enough goals. >> Stay informed about: Just Shoot |

Wow, I've never seen anyone write that Jagr's line needs to shoot more
and pass less. Good thing the New York Post is around to bring us these
news flashes!

Do you sleep with an autographed picture of Larry Brooks every night,
too?
Keller was a load his mother should have swallowed, *and* his mother
should have been pistol whipped for giving birth to him, but he still
knows more about hockey then you do. >> Stay informed about: Just Shoot |

You do realize that wasn't speculation, right? That was straight from
a beat-writer for the Rangers.

Of course, everyone stopped short of saying that's what the lines will
be tomorrow. Gomez was comically evasive, while Jagr looked downright
disconsolate. "I don't know," he kept saying.

Wow, Gomez has a one-game goal scoring streak!

So, is it that you ROFLYAO at anybody who's smarter than you? You must
laugh a lot, considering you trust the Post more than the ''hacks'' who
post here. But if you are going to trust some crazy newspaper more than
some random usenet newsgroup, you might as well go with Steve Zipay at
Newsday:
http://weblogs.newsday.com/sports/hockey/rangers/blog/
His blog is generally up to date with recent news (he doesn't tend to go
into analysis very much, which is fine for me).
Finally, for true comedy, check out the (admittedly very unscientific)
poll:
http://www.newsday.com/sports/hockey/islanders/ny-isles-poll,0,2760002,post.poll
(And for some averted tragedy, here's where I had the misfortune of
going to high school:

Yikes!)

Iommi, You seriously need a crash course in ice hockey. You have the

He said Jagr looked disconsolent. About what? Did he have a bad Lunch. Is he
tired of answering the reporters same dumb questions again and again? He
said "I don't know" and the reporter interpreted his mood. Again you have to
go by what we all saw on the Ice last night, not some tard tryin to get hits
on his blog. I was encouraged by what I saw. Lets hope it continues. >> Stay informed about: Just Shoot |

He looked disconsolate about having a new center. You can glean that
through context.

Weinstein's a beat writer. His job to watch the Rangers play (even
when the Giants are on), get to know them, interview them, etc. He's
as far from "tard" as one gets.

Don't be a retard! Of course it does. All the Rangers' problems are
solved! Renney is a jenius! I fully expect the Rangers to be first
place in the East by December 19. Mark your calendars!
