I knew this would happen when they brought up all the young guys. Damn
the last thing we need long term is to win now. Chicago, L.A. and
Tampa did their part last night by winning, why did we have to. Maybe
they could pretent Toskola's groin is hurt. At least finish in the
bottom five to be in the lottery.

Question: the bottom five are in the lottery but let's say you are the
worst team and lose the lottery, do you automatically get pick #2 or
are all five teams drawn in order?

The way I read it, all 14 Miss's get a lottery card, but the winner
can only move up 4 places. No one can be pushed down more than one
space. Translated - only the top five teams have a shot at #1.
There's a 70% chance that the lottery winner will snag Pick #1.

30th: 25.0%
29th: 18.8%
28th: 14.2%
27th: 10.7%
26th: 8.1%
25th: 6.2%
24th: 4.7%
23rd: 3.6%
22nd: 2.7%
21st: 2.1%
20th: 1.5%
19th: 1.1%
18th: 0.8%
17th: 0.5%

The other sneaker in the draft is the four quarter finalists choose
last in every round, regardless of where they finished in the regular
season.
