Are you talking about a penalty stroke competition?
If so the following advice came from a TV programme about soccer penalty
shoot-outs, but I assume the same logic would work for hockey.
If you assume that as you get deeper into the shoot-out the pressure
increases, making it more likely that the stroke taker will make a mistake,
you should put your 5 in order of worst goes first to best goes last. This
means that when the pressure is really on you have the best man for the job.
