Stupid is as stupid does

The imbecciles at HF have a thread going about chemistry and naturally
they limit it to on-ice issues...not even giving one thought at the
core problem of these insane deals: Penner and Souray completely
disrupt the salary structure which will piss off other players.

The whole point of the Smyth "screwing over" in regards to salary was
the fact that Hemsky was rightly recognized as the most skilled and
exciting player on the team thus warranting his slightly premature
status as the franchise player to build around. Now they bring in
this Penner clown and he's the highest paid forward ahead of
Hemsky???? ROFLMAO. Lets just say if Smyth was royally pissed off,
why should we not assume Hemsky will be the same? The only reason
Smyth played great is that he was playing for a new contract...Hemsky
already has a long term deal. Utilizing Lowe's logic, he should be
making 7 mill a year. Hemsky is basically a chump.

And then there is Souray at 6.2M this year...an established player
like Staios is gonna bust his butt covering for his lackadaiscal
defensive play?

This is Pat Laforge's work...moves made for marketing reasons that
make absolutely no sense on the ice. His commentary reeks of his low
opinion of the average fans intelligence and anyone who observes the
twits on HF and Oilfans must assuredly come to the same conclusion.

The fans who support this are fools.
