I've been a Bolts fan since the days at the fairgrounds. I've recently
become a more appreciative fan of number 4 when I watch what he does away
from the puck. A new HD tv has helped out in that respect. I visit this
ng on occasion but there sure is a lot of garbage posted here (some of it
outright offensive). I would be willing to open a dedicated Lightning
category on the forum of my website if anyone would be willing to moderate
it and keep out the garbage and non-related stuff. Anybody interested?

A lot of garbage posted here? It feels like there hasn't been any posts
here since the fairground days!

Well, when I came into the forum I saw a lot of posts about Free Flash
Games, Toilet Seat Secrets, Anna Nicole Smith Killed by CIA Cover-up, and
most recently someone wanting to talk about their Huge Tits. IMO that
pretty much qualifies as garbage. No wonder there a few posts. Sorry I
intruded into your forum. Bye.

Those types of posts aren't a big problem here as I can easily ignore them.
The problem here is that there's so many forums for the Lightning on the
net, each with a different personality, is that it's hard for a newsgroup to
show up on the radar as I believe many people are unaware how to access them
here and everyone knows about the BBs on the sites and it's easier for them.

I dunno, for me, newsgroups are the most convenient and easiest to use.
Might be a good idea to pump some advertising into them and make money and
get them in the public eye a little more.

Semper Fi,
J

PS, being in the land of Brodeur, hockey and huge tits go hand in hand.
