Tim Thomas is the best goddamn goalie in hockey!
I could see out of town media and Canadien broadcasters saying the B's
needed an
upgrade. But for the guy that watched the team every night, and fired
the coach after
one year (on a 4 year deal), it seemed stupid. Its almost as if he was
questioning his
own ability to judge his own team. So he made a move that would get
him some good
press around the league and he wouldn't look like he didn't know what
he was doing.
That said, we are stuck with Manny because of his salary, so we better
hope he finds
a way to stop feeling sorry for himself and starts playing like he's
capable. I don't see
Julien run Thomas into the ground like Lewis did.
