The Tie Domi award goes to Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburg Penguins,
who scored a goal and three assists in Pittsburgh's 4-2 victory over
the first-place Minnesota Wild.
The Wild lost at home for the first time this season and fell to
0-3-1 in their last four games after starting the season an NHL-best
7-0-1. >> Stay informed about: Tie Domi Award October 30, 2007 |

I don't get it. What does scoring a goal and getting three assists
have to do with being a loudmouthed, moronic, no talent cheap shot
artist who's the darling of the idiots in the Toronto hockey media?

Because the Toronto hockey media thinks every team's best players "would
like to play in a Toronto, a city passionate about hockey."

it has to be, unless the award was for being a low-life punk on ice, but
then Crosby would not be in the running. >> Stay informed about: Tie Domi Award October 30, 2007 |

Crosby would be in the running for whiniest baby on ice. Seems to have
lerrned his schtick from Kevin Youklis. >> Stay informed about: Tie Domi Award October 30, 2007 |

I don't think that's accurate at all? Did you bring this up in a hockey
group for any reason?
Let me guess, you hate the Red Sox, right?
I don't know how much baseball you've watched this season or any other, but
I will say that the umpiring in all of the playoffs, not just Red Sox games,
was inconsistent. In general, I think the officiating in all sports has
dropped off. >> Stay informed about: Tie Domi Award October 30, 2007 |

Couldn't care less about the Sox. Was thinking of the biggest whiner I
saw all year in any sport an Youklis' constant bitching after every at
bat he made an out against the Rays came to mind.

Well, he won a gold glove at first base for Boston, not committing a single
error over the course of an entire season. I don't think he is all that bad.
He at least deserves a certain amount of respect for that accomplishment. >> Stay informed about: Tie Domi Award October 30, 2007 |
