I don't think that's accurate at all? Did you bring this up in a hockey
group for any reason?
Let me guess, you hate the Red Sox, right?

I don't know how much baseball you've watched this season or any other, but
I will say that the umpiring in all of the playoffs, not just Red Sox games,
was inconsistent. In general, I think the officiating in all sports has
dropped off.

Couldn't care less about the Sox. Was thinking of the biggest whiner I
saw all year in any sport an Youklis' constant bitching after every at
bat he made an out against the Rays came to mind.

Well, he won a gold glove at first base for Boston, not committing a single
error over the course of an entire season. I don't think he is all that bad.
He at least deserves a certain amount of respect for that accomplishment.
