They sold 98% of the seats before the game, what do they care?

If no one buys the late released seats, Dolan will just buy them himself.

It's not the NHL schedule makers, the Rangers have run against the NFL
before, and they will run against the NFL in the future. They're normally
good to their customers, but this is one thing I don't understand at all.

Not only that but they are competing against a NY Giant HOME GAME!!
Going to a 50th birthday party tomorrow at 12 so I'll be DVRing
both. I wonder which score I'll hear first?

On the other hand, one is an enjoyable sporting event, and the other
is the NFL.

The 60-minute replay is on at 6pm and 11pm Eastern (for me, 3pm and 8pm
Pacific).

Is there a betting line on the ratings the Rangers game will get? The
over/under must be like 8 viewers.

An NHL stanley cup final game 7 couldn't even compete against an NFL regular
season game.

A Game 7 Cup Final probably cannot compete with a June, mid-week Tigers -
Devils Rays game.

An afternoon game gives someone with kids a chance to head to the game
without worrying about school the next day.

Yeah THANK GOD I heard the Giants score quite by accident. Got
home,deleted it
and watched the Ranger game. Yeah they lost but it was a lot more
entertaining
than the Giant fiasco!!
