Post subject: The Totals Are In: The Lowest Scorers.
Archived from groups: alt>sports>hockey>nhl>det-redwings (more info?)

In order to qualify the player had to have played at least 40 games
and be a forward.
18 Teams had three or more Canadians among their five lowest scorers
with 9 of them having four or more.
4 Teams had three Non-Canadians among their five lowest scorers. No
team had four or more Non-Canadians among their lowest scorers.
16 Teams had only 1 Non-Canadian among their five lowest.
All Canadians should kiss American ass as without them the results
would be even more abysmal. The absolute worse scorer on 27 teams was
Canadian with American's taking two and Non-Canadians the other spots.
The stats for the second worse scorer were only slightly better thanks
to the Americans.

Thomas on Zetterberg - This is from August 2005 "Zetterberg is a fringe prospect at best. A guy his size has to be a better scorer than Zetterberg is, and has to be able to play D. You saw what happened to Steve Kariya. He was a small, one dimensional forward. Now he...
