Wild 1-0 - Lucky to get out of that game with a win. Backstrom played fantastic and was the reason we won. I thought the outplayed us for most of the game. I was in the Walz Gabby Demitra line. I like Walz and maybe it will take time..

They have been blown out against Detroit twice, San Jose and Dallas.
These are very good teams that if the Wild want to make a playoff push,
they need to compete with. These games have not even been close. What
is very concerning is the number of shots on goal given up and the
number of shots we are taking. Detroit, missing 2 key players just toyed
with us. Last night Dallas skated all over us. Lemaire needs to send
out a warning call to the team as there is no guarantee they are even
going to make the playoffs. The western conference is very tight and
several decent teams are going to miss the playoffs. The Wild need to
pick it up or they could be on the outside looking in.

Yowsa...a win in Phoenix but once again outplayed on the road. Now I
don't know if I can trust the scorekeeper in Phoenix...but 48 shots on
goal...doubling up on the Wild. I think the Wild need to hurry back home.
