If you guys want to exchange thoughts and discuss the series, I
welcome you, but so far this has been awful. Personally, I'm not
willing to listen to all the chest-thumping and will eventually just
throw your names into a killfile, but I'd rather not. You could
probably care less what I have to say, but if you don't then you'd
kinda have to ask yourself why you're visiting our newsgroup. Let's
try to bring the level of conversation up 2 or 3 notches in
here...whaddaya say guys?
Kenny: maybe 5 or 6 notches for you. Nobody likes a bragger, and
your posts have very little redeeming quality to them...certainly
nothing to discuss. If you want someone to actually engage you in
this newsgroup, then you need to raise the level of your
game...otherwise you'll be hearing crickets.
Adam and Tango: until you read something meaningful and worthy of
your time, let the bozo posts fall on deaf ears. We did a great job
on "rgj" in the Montreal series...let's pick our game up here, too.
C'mon guys... >> Stay informed about: Visitors' posts |

Garrett,
I'm still getting back into playoff form after not having posted in
three or four years. Sure, I'm entertaining the ridiculous posts of
Kenny, Glapski, and the "we" kook, but there's been nothing of any
substance posted by our competition. The Devils' fans remain my
favorites. They seem to really know their hockey and have great
posters.
The Buffalo folks have presented only their finest buffoons so far.
I'd like the more erudite Sabres' hockey faithful to join us. Even
upon visiting their ng, I still have to give my nod to Devils' fans for
better posts.
I can't comment on Habs' fans posts, since I missed Round 1 postings.
They were pretty good back in '02, as I recall.
Whatever happened to Greg from '02? Are there any other Canes posters
than the three of us?

Yes, I've continued to follow them since '02. I was relieved when
Laviolette joined the team and found that my enthusiasm was upped a
bit. My wife and I continued to go to the games. We bought a
mini-season plan in the year following the Cup run.
As for posting in this ng, my situation changed and I simply wasn't
able to post as I did in '02.
I've been a fan of hockey since I watched my first Raleigh Icecap
(ECHL) game in 1991. The game will always remain my favorite. >> Stay informed about: Visitors' posts |

I think you are giving Kenny more credit than what he is worth...:-p

Oh it's not that bad...you gotta have fun with the visitors. and besides
they keep showing how equal the teams are without having to spend all day
looking at stats. If they want to show their ignorance about the Canes
while posting, I'm all for it. It may give them a chance to learn that
Raleigh actually has become a solid hockey town since 1999.

I never visit the other group. Well if the Canes play the Pens...since
those are the only two I read

It's spotty but there are about five other off and on contributors. Go
through google and look back.

>>> Are there any other Canes posters
than the three of us? <<<
even though i'm lurking & do post occasionally, i do enjoy reading
these posts.
but i do frequent the sporting news site, www.sportingnews.com
they have a decent amount of hockey coverage over there & readers are
allowed to comment on any article.
plus if i need to get in the occasional Sidney Crosby jab or make fun
of nc state fans for the basketball coach fiasco i can do that also.
its one-stop-shopping.
speaking of other sites there is also cnnsi.com, which right now has a
couple of nice articles on Brindy. >> Stay informed about: Visitors' posts |

I'm still here - mainly lurking. Got tickets to games 2 & 5 ("if needed").

Ah, yes. I remember you from '02.
Wow. A little reunion.
Greg must have shipped out. How was it he tagged his messages:
"That's my .02 cents"? >> Stay informed about: Visitors' posts |

Yup that's how he did it. I think he'll post once or twice a year. I
remember that he did once at least this season. >> Stay informed about: Visitors' posts |
