What's taking so long, Cliff? Haven't picked him up yet...

At $1.4M, that's a good pick-up for a team that's short a Dman.

Are waivers first come, first served, or is there some sort of pecking
order?

Toronto is short a defenseman? I was thinking they might need to lease a
second plane.

I think Cliff is trying a new strategy this season. He's going to ice ONLY
defensemen. You can never have too many, so why not sign all of them and
have them play every position? Why bother with messy wingers and centers
when you can play defensive awesomeness? There's no need to trap because
everyone is your 'shut-down' pairing. We wont even need a goalie.

It's either that, or Cliff has misinterpreted what the mediots mean by "stay
at home guy". "Order another plane, boss. I think the "stay at home" guys
want to come too."

Waivers are ordered inversely to the previous years finish. Same as
the teams draft positions.
