1) Renney had the fourth line on against the Laffs first line. Result goal.
2) Three chances to clear the puck and they gave it to the Laffs. Result
goal.
3) Tyutin stands around like a damn milk cow. Result goal,
Either they taken a collective stupid pill or they've been drinking out
of the East River.

I think they might just not be a very good team. >> Stay informed about: The Water |

It seems to me that everyone just expects everything to click. I
don't see why that would happen on its own. Major changes need to
happen. It's not a jigsaw puzzle where you put the right lines
together and everything works. Renney has pieces from several
different puzzles. >> Stay informed about: The Water |

I don't expect it to click,,,I'm hoping it clicks. Almost 40 years of
being a Rangers fan, I expect very little. :-(

It's still early in the season to be too pessimistic, although things
definitely need to improve. Maybe the players are letting the pre-season
hype go to their heads and actually believing it, without actually
getting out there and doing what needs to be done on the ice to put
themselves in to a play off spot? Something is not right at the moment
anyway, but there is still time to make it. They ARE a good team,
they're just not playing like one.... as usual! >> Stay informed about: The Water |

I don't know how you can say that at this time. They are far from a good
team right now. And until they start playing like one they won't be one.
Yes, a little Yogie Berra in me.

Yeah, I didn't mean you. I meant team/media/delusional fans.
I expected much less from this team than what was hyped, but not this
much less. =/ >> Stay informed about: The Water |

Shanahan-Messier-Drury
Imagine the thick, gooey streams of intangibles that would just burst
all over the arena. They'd finish the season with a combined 15,000
shots, 9 goals and a -72 rating, but imagine the hockey sense they'd
knock into the youngsters whose spots they were taking. >> Stay informed about: The Water |

I don't think anything in history could be more intangible than that line.
Even God would have to tip his hat to that level of intangibility. >> Stay informed about: The Water |

How was that any different.... - How was that waved-off goal in Buffalo any different than the one in game 1 against the Rangers? Why did that one count, and this one didn't? By the way, VS. is absolutely terrible. Joe Beninati? Why don't they just get Rick Jeanerette or some other....
