Does that leave the door open for Montoya as Henriks backup? Who
else
do we have?

So Weekes wants to play less games than he did with the Rangers? It's good
work if you can get it, I guess.

Broduer is a groin pull away from retirement, but who in their right mind
would want to follow that act?

He's also one meteor strike to the head away from retirement. Or one
stray javelin toss to the neck away from retirement. Or maybe even
one stalled car on the railroad tracks with a speeding commuter headed
straight at him away from retirement.

You can't predict something if there's no basis for it. So you can't
plan your next move around a hypothetical that probably may not
happen. That's like me saying I shouldn't go outside to get my mail
because I could be attacked by wild boars. Sure, I *could* be
attacked by wild boars, but the chances of that happening are slim, so
I'm going to go outside and get my mail anyway.

First, learn to spell "Brodeur" for the 500th time.

Second, you have no idea what you are talking about again for the
500th time.

BTW, Jagr is the one with the history of groin problems. One more
groin injury away from the Rangers being in the 07-08 lottery.

Say what? Now a statement like Eric Lindros is one concussion away from
retirement may make some sense due to his history, but I don't get the
Brodeur (note the spelling) reference here. He's missed something in the
order of 10 games in his career due to injury.

, but who in their right

Somebody will have to eventually, but it won't be Weekes.

Does the viceroy know where you live? If he does it's quite likely you
could be attacked by a wild bore. <vbg>

I'm not as wild as you think. Yes, bad news for the ladies. Good
news for my liver. And yes, my wife too.

Oh, I don't find the Viceroy boring at all. His words keep me going
at night when I'm thinking about ankling this "talking hockey on the
internet thing" for something productive. I need his pain, so I
return.

In fact, I'd wager what little money I have that he's more related to
a "boar" than a "bore."

And I sincerely mean that in the kindest of ways.

R.J.
