The big question is who replaces him? Especially if Sundin is let go. Who
comes in and fills an offensive role? I read today that Fletcher wasnt
expecting to go after big name UFA's this summer, which is probably a smart
move as it sounds like they want to position themselves for a shot at John
Taveras or Victor Hedman next summer.

Besides, this years UFA crop isnt exactly overwhelming.
The Leafs aren't overwhelmed with a wealth of young prospects to come up and
replace Kyle. I'd rather see Kyle in there with his skill, then Dominic
Moore or Boyd Devereaux. Yes, they both work harder then Kyle. But neither
has a tenth of Wellwood's skillset.
Getting a guy like Wellwood to play hard is hopefully something Ron Wilson
can fix, because Maurice wasn't having any luck with him.
Tunnel.
