Are the Wild the second best NHL team in the West?

I think it's safe to say that Detroit is going to be the monster team
in the West to reckon with this season, but beyond that I don't
see many other Western teams as being as all-around balanced
as the Wild (when the Wild are healthy).

Colorado and Dallas are both contenders as well, but I like the
Wild's all around roster a little better.

If Backstrom, Demitra and Gaborik can all stay healthy (which is
a bit worrisome right now), the Wild have a very good shot at
being right up there with Detroit this season, IMO.

While I think the Wild will make the playoffs, they will be seeded no
higher than 5th IMO. They do not have depth and has been proven these
past few games, an injury to a single star can send them reeling.
