Whalers about to win Cup

Ladies and gentlemen,

As you all must know, the Whalers are about to win the Cup. This will
be the first time that the franchise has won the Cup since 1973, before
I was born (and when they were still in Boston, before moving to their
permanent home in Hartford).

How do you plan to celebrate? I plan to wear the old green jersey
throughout the weekend.

P.S. How are plans for the new arena in Hartford coming along? They
should hurry it up. The team has been waiting to go back to Hartford
for so many years, some of the players are beginning to forget their
true identity. There are even terrible rumours that the team is
planning to give up its plans to return to Hartford and remain in
Raleigh indefinitely. So get a move on with the new arena, already!
