Surprised. Some itchy reluctances. Now they just have to find a
horse to boss the cart.
Above all that, good announcement. Wilson may not be that different
in style, but he's a much more successful coach at the NHL level than
PMaurice. And that is what making the coaching move was all about,
right? >> Stay informed about: Wilson it is |

Interim Fletch just might be holding the fort until Burke can make it
over here after all, eh?
"Born in Windsor, he grew up in Fort Erie idolizing the Maple Leafs.
But he became an American citizen at 18 when he went to college at
Providence, R.I.
His roommate was Brian Burke, currently GM of the Anaheim Ducks and
believed to be the top choice of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment
to take over the Leafs once his contract with the Ducks expires.."
But hey, we knew it all along.....

The media angle will never go away now, willit? Somehow, Flinch has
become the long-interterm Manager ... and Richard Peddie is still top
dawg. Gilbert may stay with the Marlies for one more year, but that'd
be about it. I hope Wilson got PQuinnl-type influence in the
direction. Oh yea, the tab on all this is spiraling while
merchandising is flat and ticket-prices are frozen ... MLSE's priority
on the bottom line appears to be getting less than optimal results. >> Stay informed about: Wilson it is |

So we now know we are right once in a while and they are just waiting
for someone's contract to expire.
We were right. >> Stay informed about: Wilson it is |
