Wait a minute. I was originally rooting for Anaheim, because I want
Ottawa to beat the hell out of them in the finals (they put the
Canucks out of the playoffs at the end of the second series.) But then
Pronger did what he did to Holmstrom, and I got mad and went over to
Detroit. Then I realized that Detroit has Bertuzzi, who played on the
Canucks until he got the boot for all the trouble he caused. And so I
ended up being kind of indifferent to who wins the western conference.
If you're rooting for Detroit, it's you who needs to have faith.

Well, if a game is played in Anaheim and it goes into quadruple
overtime, like it did in one of the Anaheim vs Vancouver games in the
second round of the playoffs, you'll have a first in freaking AGES.

That was an absolutely amazing hockey game. I remember looking at the
PVR clock at 3:11AM, and smiling about how the players were so tired,
they were all skating like 70-year-olds. And I fell asleep. Apparently,
the game ended at 3:31AM. One of the best playoff games I've ever seen,
and I missed the end. I hate when that happens...

I went to bed in regulation time when the score was 3 - 0 for the
Canucks, figuring they'd clinched it. I was just amazed when I got up
in the morning and learned it had gone into quadruple overtime. But
the outcome was the same : )The Canucks won that one. Glad I didn't
stay up.

What the hell are you talking about? Are you living in some parallel
universe where Detroit didn't get beaten by Anaheim in 6?

You need to go back and read his posts again ... they're actually
quite funny. That lump protruding from his cheek is his tongue ...
very firmly planted. That thing protruding from yours is a hook ...
very deeply snagged. >> Stay informed about: Wings or Ducks - Any preference ? |

You'll see when all the snow starts to melt around the middle of July. Then
you'll have to put the dog sleds away until late August.
