--The Wolves are currently on a seven-game road winning streak, tied for
the longest such streak in the AHL this year; the team is in the midst
of a season-high six-game road trip.
--Chicago matched a season-high three power-play goals on Saturday, the
fourth time this season the team accomplished that feat.
--The Wolves collected their 13th short-handed goal of the season ? and
just their first on the road ? on Friday.
--Chicago has registered at least three goals in each of its last seven
games; the team ranks third in the league with 224 goals and an average
of 3.15 goals per game.
MAGIC NUMBER
Any combination of two points by the Wolves or Grand Rapids failing to
earn two points will clinch Chicago?s 11th playoff berth in 11 seasons.
After that, only two other teams in the West Division could pass the
Wolves? 97 points or 44 wins, the first tie-breaker.
