Uhm - they still have a fairly large backstock of those jerseys in the
team store, and the only way to sell them is for the players to make
fans think they are still relevant?

My guess is Bettman is taking so much heat over the stupid change
which resulted in all visiting teams looking the same, and screwing
with the history of the game, that he's quitely implimented a policy of
switching jerseys occasionally to give the fans a taste of what used
to be and actually made sense.

Of course next year when they bring back the 3rd jerseys, this common
sense will all be pissed down the drain.

They said on CKNW on Friday that it was "reverse jersey night" and
alot of teams would be wearing the whites at homes to show the new RBK
whites to the home fans. I remember watching the highlights and seeing
other teams wearing white at home as well. I don't think its something
thats going to happen past this weekend.
