I mean, what does it take to get rid of a sport that no one, and I do mean no
one, cares about, Just when we thought it was dead it arises like
Frankenstein. Please RIP, go back to Europe, we don't want you.

At the expense of responding to a troll, let's get this newsgroup going.

This guy is partially correct. Hockey has been damaged very badly. How do
you think the fans are going to react? I am a die hard hockey fan and will
be glad to see it come back, but for the majority of the fans that had come
on board down here in the south, I think they have been lost for along time.
It will take another serious run by the Stars to get the attention level
back to anywhere near where it was.

Who you calling a 'troll' dip stick? Is a troll anyone who doesn't agree with
your position? Of course anyone who would actually watch a dull ass so called
'sport' like hockey wouldn'have an IQ high enough to count anyway.

I will attend several Stars games this season, and will watch every televised game.
