Does Phoenix even *care* about the Coyotes?

Those of us who love hockey have a passion for the Coyotes. Forget
about the Cardinals coming first in this town as they have never been
embraced by most of us here. People go to the games to cheer for the
other teams. Granted there isn't the interest here in hockey that you
have in Canada but those of us who love hockey are very passionate
about it. From what I can tell, hockey fans are the best and most
passionate about their favorite sport. When the team first came here I
couldn't have cared less as I knew nothing about hockey. My daughter
(lives in Denver - Colorado Avalanche) talked me into going to one game
just to see what it was about. I did and was hooked for life. Now I
read everything I can get my hands on to learn more about the sport and
players.

My daughter treated me to a weekend in Toronto to go to the Hockey Hall
of Fame and a Maple Leafs game. It was a big thrill for me to go to a
game in a Canadian city because I totally respect the fact of how much
hockey means to them. This is why I wanted Canada to win the Gold Medal
in the last Olympics because I knew it meant more to them than most
Americans.
