Shelley is signed. Supposedly a Clowe deal is close. Marleau isn't
going anywhere.

I wish I would have offered a finsky bet with Duane on Campbell. If
you still want it, I'll give you 3 to 1 odds, and if I win I promise
to offer a double down that DW makes no big FA signings (which you
don't have to take).

If no Campbell and no FA's, then the only reason to go to the Tank
will be to "warm up" and eat very expensive hotdogs. :-)

We do have a new coach, you know. ;-)

So even if we don't sign anyone, I'll be interested in going to the
tank to check out how the team is playing under him.

It will be interesting to see which players buy into McLellan's puck
possession game and which don't. The change in style won't suit
everyone.

Nice of you to offer, but at this point it looks like the bidding war
is on! DW *has* to sign a d-man. If not Campbell, then someone like
Redden, or even trade with TB for Boyle or TO for Kubina.

No, it won't, and I'm looking forward to that, as well. In fact,
depending on how things go, our roster may end up looking radically
different, as I wouldn't rely on the vast majority of our players to
pass a puck from point A to point B without hitting point C on the way
even though C might be 20 feet out of the way.
