Good question. I was gonna ask if anyone knows who's still under
contract for the upcoming season. All the teams are gonna look a
helluva lot different.

Ones that I suspect are still around would be Klatt, Conroy, and
Garon. I'm sure there are a few more . . . .

I know Ziggy is not signed. Actually, I think the Kings are going to be one
of the few teams who will actually have money to spend after the new CBA.
Many teams will have to buyout their high priced players to make room for the
rest of the team. Should be interesting.

Speaking of the new CBA, is any progress being made? Is there any realistic
chance the upcoming season will start on time?

I agree the Kings look to be in very good shape and have a chance to hit the
ground running (or should I say "hit the ice skating"?), assuming they can
ever get back on the ice.

If they want to start the season on time, the thing will need to be
signed in the next couple of weeks. And it does honestly look like
that will happen. Watch for the story to break next week. It won't
be a big announcement; that will come after the deal is ratified by
the players and the owners.

Well I think most here haven't had time to post because they are working
on their Jeremy Roenick voodoo dolls.
