Only the Rangers could allow 1 goal in 3 games, and still manage to
lose 2 of them.

Both goalies were great tonight. Still amazing that the guys who get
paid to score can't do it. Can we give Lundqvist the Vezina yet?

Beating the Devils always feels nice. :)

This entire season they've made goalies look like Vezina caliber goalies.
Today it was just Brodeur. They had great shots on goal. They got to
rebounds. They even had a couple screens. Dawes was simply the only guy that
could put it in. Brodeur made two excellent saves on Drury, 1 on Shanny, and
1 on Hossa. Those could have easily been goals on any other night.

Jagr played like he finally cared about winning.

I love the fact that Tyutin and Girardi are the #1 pair now. It feels so
right. It's like Renney finally gets it.

I love that the 4th line actually got playing time.

I love that Dubinsky got playing time and got to show that he's a very
competent player on the PP.

I love that they forechecked. Hossa was a beast down low.

Much better all around effort. We'll see how much of this carries over
against Toronto. The Devils weren't very good today.

The scoring will come around...eventually :-)
But it's nice seeing good defense this early.

I think we could actually say that the Rangers are a better team than
the Devils. It's been what, eleven years since that was the case?

I laughed at Sam near the end of the game when he exclaimed "Jagr
BACKCHECKING to break up a play." It was comical how surprised he was
to say those first two words.

Would still be nice if the right people could start to score. Real
nice.

I guess Sean Avery will be pretty dissapointed that rule still exists.

Sean Avery getting treated unfairly? Never. An upstanding citizen such
as him should always be treated fairly both on and off the ice. Peter
Worrell, Elisha Cuthbert and the LA KIngs, just to name a few, are all
dissapointed if his choir boy image gets tarnished.
