Sloppy first period that the Rangers survived. Many periods like that
this season have resulted in them trailing 3-0 by the end. The Jagr
goal was really important.

Second period was a lazy period. Tons of bad passes and turnovers. I
think Montreal proved that you want to stay as far away from their
power play as possible.

Third period was better. Montreal collapsed into a fetal position way
too early, in my opinion (not that I'm complaining). The Rangers did
that earlier this season against Pittsburgh, and Pittsburgh also
managed to tie the game up eventually (that was the game Strudwick won
in OT).

Nice to see Drury chip in with a big goal.

Shanahan has an amazing shot.

I was at the game ... 6 of the 7 goals were scored into the Zamboni
net ... My son said that's downhill with the wind ...

Lazy ??? Too much an understatement .. one shot on goal .. ONE
BLEEPING SHOT ...

Montreal PP ... Alex Kovalev ... wearing the C ...

That set up was pure hustle and hitting and skating seemingly out of
no where ...

That GWG was amazing ...

BTW ... there was a huge Montreal contingent at the Garden ...Mostly
blue seats ... but scattered throughout ... many in the corporate
seats where we were ... and they were loud ... Did that come across on
TV ??

Even after they went down 3-2 I felt this strange confidence I haven't felt
all season with this low scoring Club. I thought they would come back, even
after that frustrating 1 shot 2nd. Thats a change from just a few games ago
when I felt certain they were gonna blow that 3-2 lead vs Carolina. They
ended up winning both games.
That recent cold streak is starting to become a memory now, lets keep it
going.

I can't stand to watch that team. I have no idea what it is about
them, all I know is that I can't stand to watch. That team has no
pizazz. And if they do, I wouldn't know because I never watch them.
Last year I went to the Meadowllands to see them play the Devils. They
scored a first period goal and after that I don't think they crossed
center ice again. They sat back, dumped the puck and never tried to
score another goal. Eventually the Devils tied the game in the third
and won in ot. they may still be Frenchmen but they sure aint Flyin'.
